Please see the FAQ section for a detailed explanation of why I need to the following completed prior to submission of your quilt.

1.  A deposit of half of the cost of the quilting is due prior to the quilting being started.  Once completed, the remainder of the fee will need to be paid before the quilt is released.

2.  All threads on the front and the back of the quilt top need to be trimmed prior to submission

​

3.  All seams need to be pressed flat (it doesn't matter if they are pressed to one side or open - they just need to be flat) on both the quilt top and backing and any large creases ironed out prior to submission.

4. The quilt top and backing needs to be squared prior to submission.  If not the end result will be a crooked quilt.

5.  Backing Fabric needs to be a minimum of 4" longer on ALL sides (6" on all sides if you want ruler work done on the edges due to the ruler base that is used in the process.)

Services that may incur additional fees include:

-Pressing the quilt top and trimming the threads if not done prior to submission (minimum charge - $10)

-Preparing the backing fabric by sewing seams, squaring and pressing (minimum charge $10/seam)

-Adding a personal label/hanging sleeve to the quilt

-Additional Design Consultation (one hour is included in the price).  If more than one hour is needed it will be billed at $20/hr.
